#ZeroDay

Like many of you I have been stuck at home ...for a while now. Some of these experiences are shared, others are unique to me and my family. I have spent the better part of 40 years in the Hospitality Industry. I have learned a great many things from this Industry. I've learned how to build a team, on-board them and train them. (Sometimes at a staggering scale) I've learned how poor people survive within this industry. I have had a front row seat to "trickle down" policies that have hurt communities throughout this country. So it time to say "Goodbye" to the Industry that 'raised' me, and to say "Hello World" to the rest of my life.

I started with Coursera and three of the Google Professional Certificates. I have distilled a great amount of knowledge from these courses. If you can afford them I recommend them as a gateway to the tech industry. They are not a destination in of themselves, they are merely a launch point. Learning NEVER ends. NEVER. ENDS.

DayZero I picked up a couple of domains, mostly as a lark, and mostly to have a memorable handle within Twitter and Instagram. @Tacoburgerpizza on Twitter and Instagram. I also have @TacosOverflow on IG and post there more often than anything.

I ran into Quincy Larson's year end Challenge (@ossia) on Twitter.

So I'm moving through this challenge. I had already started the fCC Relational Database Cert I have to take a moment to share with you the fact that I try to learn things 3 times. What I mean by that it is .... I want to learn most things in Windows, MacOS and Linux. The time it took to set up the Database course in Linux was mind numbing Hashnode blog of my journey is set up, domains might take a day to configure.....And now I'm headed over to start #LearntocodeRPG.
